 The CLX series compressor/limiter is extremely useful for such diverse applications as loudspeaker protection, vocal level control, broadcast limiting, musical instrument sustain, special effects, and CD to cassette transfers. It allows you to compress your audio smoothing out the dynamic range and deliverying an even-level signal while preventing loud spikes of audio from ruining speakers or distorting out.
